In order to spend quality time with their patients and provide them with the best care possible, the doctors at Verdugo Internal Medicine have chosen to be “out of network” for most HMO and PPO insurance plans. The office will bill individuals’ insurance directly and will gladly make sure that the maximum reimbursement is negotiated.  Although VIM does not accept Medi-Cal, it is a participating provider in Medicare.

Dr. Barber and Dr. Altree belong to MDVIP, an innovative practice system focusing on preventative care and personal connection and see member patients.
